Mr. Wesley Vernard Porter

Mr. Wesley Vernard Porter, 70, of Greenville, husband of Valorie Dunbar Porter for 47 years, transitioned on Friday, May 16, 2025. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of the late John and Willie Mae Price Porter.

Surviving, in addition to his wife: two daughters, Tanya Porter of Anderson, SC and Tawana Porter of Simpsonville, SC; one son, Courtney Sloan of Gray Court, SC; three grandchildren, Courtney Latnece Sloan, Tia Sloa, and Tyciana Edward, all of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
