Mr. Vau-Louis Johnson, Sr., 87, of Greenville, South Carolina, husband of Eula Gladden Johnson, passed away, Monday, January 6, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Major William and Lillian Williams Johnson.
Surviving, in addition to his wife: three daughters, Danella (Jonathan) Watts and Vanessa (Wesley) Johnson both of Greenville, SC and Reverend Mamie Johnson-Howell of Taylor, SC; three sons, Vau-Louis (Reginia) Johnson, Jr., Vau-Louis Johnson, Jr., of Fountain Inn, SC and Demetris R. Johnson of Louisville, KY; one sister, Wanda Cooper of Atlanta, GA; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, January 14, 2025, 11:00am, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
