Mr. Twyman T. Hawthorne

Mr. Twyman T. Hawthorne, 84, widower of Ethel Lee Mack Hawthorne, transitioned on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at his residence. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Elijah and Louise Chapman Hawthorne.

Surviving: seven daughters, Marian Hawthorne, Zinhar Hawthorne, Tausha McMorris, Loleitha Hawthorne and Detritch Hawthorne all of Greenville, SC, and Roberta Hawthorne of Lithonia, GA; and Shannon Downs of Killeen, TX;  three sisters, Mary Alice (Lifford) Ware, of Greenville, SC; Bernice (Reginald) Anderson of Taylors, SC and Gwendolyn (Robert) Pitts of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Edward (Patricia) Hawthorne and Ronnie (Anna) Hawthorne both of Piedmont, SC; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services:  Tuesday, May 6, 2025, 11:00am Reedy Fork Baptist Church with interment in Reedy Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
