Mr. Teddy Ray Smith

Mr. Teddy Ray Smith, 70, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, husband of Kathy Rutherford Smith, transitioned on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at his residence. Born in Cairo, Illinois, he was a son of Lerleen Morgan Smith and the late Thedore Smith.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother: one daughter, LaTonya (Christopher) Nash of Simpsonville, SC two sisters, Denayer (Jessie) Artis and Robin Smith and Peoria, IL; three brothers, Ulysses (Oteria) morgan and Arlon (Yvonne) Smith both of Peoria, IL and Scott Smith of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
