Mr. Samuel L. Rosemond

Mr. Samuel L. Rosemond, 89, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026 at his daughter’s home, Francine and James Robinson, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Greenville to his late parents, Samuel and Annie Belle Garrison Rosemond.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Gambrell Rosemond; one son, Emmanuel Leo Rosemond; two brothers, William Rosemond and James Benjamin Rosemond; one sister, Lula Mae Lang, and bonus grandson, Christopher Dawson.

He was a long-time employee at REWA, Renewable Water Resource.

Cherishing the memory of a life well lived are his son, Samuel Rosemond, Jr., Anderson, SC; bonus son, Warren (Donya) Gambrell, Piedmont, SC; one daughter, Agatha Dawson, Simpsonville, SC; four bonus daughters, Rene (Gordon) Ross, Atlanta, GA; Barbara Dawson and significant other, Milford Johnson; Francine (James) Robinson and Arnetta Dawson, all of Greenville, SC, nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services: Friday, June 5, 2026, 1:00pm, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
