Mr. Robert Thomas "Rook" Oliver, Jr., 82, of Greenville, husband to Eva Oliver, transitioned on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at McCall Hospice House. Born in McCormick, SC; he was the son of the late Robert Thomas Oliver, SR., and Minnie Rollison Oliver.
Surviving: in addition to his wife of the home, two daughters, Robin Oliver and Hope (Michael) Brown, all of Greenville, SC; one son, Everett (Sonya) Oliver, of Neebo, NC; bonus son, John Hughey, of Greenville, SC; two grandchildren, Ryan Oliver and Keva Oliver, both of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are Friday, 11:00 AM, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with burial Spring Grove Baptist Cemetery, 1586 Fort Charlotte Rd. Mt. Carmel, SC 29840
