Mr. Phillip ‘Captain’ Brown, 65, of Greenville, was married to his wife Barbara Goldsmith Brown for 35 years. Born in Travelers Rest, he was a son of Alvin Dean and Christine Miller Brown.
Surviving, in addition to his wife: one daughter, Christina Brown of Irmo, SC; one sister, Sharon (Arthur) Gray of Greenville, SC; three brothers, Roy (Pam) Brown of Greenville, SC, Jimmy (Cathy) Brown of Stockbridge, GA and Gerald Brown of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, August 17, 2025, 1:00pm at Shady Oak Baptist Church with interment in Graceland East Memorial Park.
