Mr. Odell "Big O/Big Papa" Holliday, Sr.

Mr. Odell "Big O / Big Papa" Holliday, Sr., 82, of Pickens, transitioned on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at his residence. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Henry and Velma Hatton Holliday. 

Surviving: three daughters, Velma Holliday, of Pickens, SC; Larissa (Joachim) Mittmann, of Inman, SC, and Celeste Davenport, of Greenville, SC; one  sons, Odell (Michelle) Holliday of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Abbie Holliday, of Washington, DC, Maggie Holliday and Marie Price, both of Clinton, MD; and Ida (Thomas) McKinney, of Easley, SC; sixteen grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Saturday, March 29, 2025, 1:00pm, at Griffin Ebenezer Baptist Church, with interment in Secona Cemetery, Pickens, SC.
