Mr. Ocie Byrd 89, of Greenville, South Carolina, transitioned on Wednesday May 7, 2025 at his residence. Born in Newberry, SC; he was the son of the late Eddie Byrd, Sr., and Rosie Davis Byrd.
Surviving: two sisters, Lizzie (Otis) Goodwin, of Buffalo, NY; Mary (Terry) Byrd, of Bronx, NY; one brother, Eddie Byrd, Jr., of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 2:00pm, at Vaughnville Baptist Church, with interment in Church Cemetery.
