Mr. Leroy Herbert, 93, of Piedmont, husband of Bettye Everett Herbert for 70 years, transitioned on January 6, 2026. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Bessie Lee Herbert.

Surviving in addition to his wife: one daughter, Angela (Robert) Gibson of Aiken, SC; two sons, Michael (Yolanda) Herbert, Coleman, TX and Marc (Alissa) Herbert of Greenville, SC; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Thursday, January 22, 2026, 11:30am at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in M J Dolly Veteran Cemetery.
