Mr. Joseph Andrew "Joe" Tutt

Joseph A. Tutt was the third of four children born to Mr. Joseph Allen and Mrs. Sarah Allen on August 31, 1965, in Queens General Hospital. He was raised by his parents in Hollis Queens NY. 

After graduating from Jamaica high school, he joined the Navy at the age of eighteen and began his journey and his career in Nursing. Once discharged from the Navy he decided to reside in Oceanside CA. It was there he met “Agnes Alford” and from that union they were blessed with two children Lakeshia and Joseph Donte Tutt.

Everyone who knew Joe , knew him to be a very devoted and loving son to his mother Sarah . There was nothing he wouldn’t do for her.

He gained employment with Scripps Memorial hospital as a nurse for 26 years. Within the years he became the head nurse where he then supervised those he once worked with. Joe loved his job, and treated everyone fairly. Joseph worked with Scripps memorial till his last days. He was hospitalized at the hospital where he worked and the staff treated him like family until he transitioned.

He leaves to mourn, his loving mother Sarah Allen, Daughter Lakeshia Tutt, Son Joseph Donte Tutt, (7) grandkids, (2) brother’s Johnny(Samantha)Tutt, and Michael(Tonya) Allen, (2) Aunts Georgia Whitner, and Genevieve Holiday and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.🕊️ 🕊️Joe will especially be missed by his god sister Donna(Andre)Pierre. I thank god every day for you being my Brother from another mother. No one can take away the memories we shared. You know how much I care; you are at peace now. Sleep peacefully my brother till I see you again. 🕊️🕊️

Funeral Services: Friday, September 5, 2025, 11:00am, Watkins Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment Friday, September 5, 2025, 1:00pm, in M.J. "Dolly" Copper Veteran Cemetery.
