Mr. Joseph "Jo Jo" Johnson, Jr.

Mr. Joseph “Jo Jo” Johnson, Jr.,  57, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Reedy River Post Acute. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Joseph Johnson, Sr., and Johnnie Mae Young Washington. 

Surviving: two sons, Decius Johnson, of Travelers Rest, SC; and Joseph J. Johnson III, of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Joynecia Washington, of Piedmont, SC; and Kenya Kirksey, of Greenville, SC; one brother, Kunta Kirksey, of Greenville, SC; a goddaughter, Melissa Moore, of Greenville, SC;  a devoted cousin and caretaker, Phyllis Pickens, of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Thursday, January 2, 2024, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
