Mr. Johnny Rae Vernon, 64, of Greenville, transitioned on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Anmed Healthcare in Anderson, South Carolina. He was a son of the late Johnny McGreer and Patsy Alexander.
Surviving: two sisters, Crystal Babb of Belton, SC and Mary Alexander of Montgomery, AL; one brother, Michael Alexander of Harlem, NY; a special cousin, Constance McGreer of Greenville, SC, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial service: Saturday, August 8, 2026, 3:30pm, at Watkins, Garrett, and Woods Mortuary with interment, Private
