Ms. Johnnie Mae Williams

Ms. Johnnie Mae Williams, 84, of Laurens, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at NHC Laurens. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Forrest Young and Mary Jackson Young.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Johnnie was preceded in death by two sisters: Frances Hendricks of Fountain Inn, SC, and Arnetta Tate of Greenville, SC. She was also preceded in death by one son, Anthony Williams, and one daughter, Brittney Williams, both of Greenville, SC.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Burroughs of Atlanta, GA, and Pamela Williams of Greenville, SC; three sons, Roman Williams of Kinston, NC, Clarence Williams of Greenville, SC, and Keith Williams of Duncan, SC; one brother, Charles Young of Greenville, SC; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 6, 2025, 11:00am at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment private.
