Mr. John Henry Scott, 93, of Piedmont, husband of JoEllen Wright Scott, transitioned on Sunday, May 24, 2026. He was a son of the late William Otis and Florine Blassingame Scott.
Surviving, in addition to his wife: two daughters, Kappa and Pia (John) DeVore of Greer, SC; one son, John (The Honorable Judge Ebony) Scott of Washington, DC; one sister, Helen McCullough of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Robert ( Zomemia) Scott of Greenville, SC and Donald (Jeanette) Emery of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, May 30, 2026, 12:00pm, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with entombment on Monday, June 1, 2026, in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
