Mr. John Douglas "Doug" Jones, 83 of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Friday, January 24, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Wayne Kermet Jones, Sr., and Marjorie Lovelace Jones.
Left to cherish many fond memories are his loving wife of 58 years, Freddie Wilson Jones; of the home, two daughters, Sonjia (Mike) Baker, and Cynthia (Reggie) Sullivan; all of Greenville, SC; two grandchildren Brianna Baker, Savon (Faith) Baker; one great grandchild Layla Baker, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Monday, February 3, 2025, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
