Mr. John Eric Jones

Mr. John Eric Jones, 67, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, husband of Ann Marie Green Jones for 42 years, transitioned on Friday, June 27, 2025, at his residence. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Walton Irving, Sr. and Ruby Williamson Jones.

Surviving in addition to his wife: one daughter, Kathryn Jones of New York, New York; one son, Craig (Sarah) Jones of Greer, SC; two brothers, Walton Irving (Reverend Marlene) Jones, Jr., and Michael (Jason Larkin) Jones of Alexandria, VA; one grandson, Kingston Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Monday, July 7, 2025, 6:00pm, - 7:30pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary.

Funeral Services: Tuesday, July 8, 2025, 12:00pm at St. Phillips Episcopal Church with interment in Greenland East Memorial Park.
