Mr. Joe Alvin Richey

Mr. Joe Alvin Richey, 80, of Greenville, the husband to Mary Ann Richey, transitioned on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born In Greenville County, he was the son of the late Joseph Richey and Rosella Crosby.

Surviving: In addition to his wife, two daughters, Hortense Richey and Joe-Anne (Ike) Wilks, all of Greenville, SC; one son, Matthew (Deanna) Owens, of Clinton, SC; two brothers, Charles Richey, and John Calvin Richey, all of Greenville, SC; two nieces who was raised in the home, Rosemary (Joe) Wu, of Charlotte NC; and Darlene Wallace, of Atlanta, GA; Pa Pa's baby, Kyree Hunter, of Greenville, SC; and a special nephew, Alvin Richardson, seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, January 10, 2025, 1:00pm, at Macedonia Baptist Church, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
