Mr. James Lavar Sullivan

Mr. James Lavar Sullivan, 45, of Greenville, transitioned on Monday, June 1, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital Eastside. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Lacarole (James Anthony) Sullivan Garrett and the late Howard Griffin.

Surviving: in addition to his mother, one daughter, Aaliyah Sullivan, of Greenville, SC; three sons, Jarius Sullivan, Zorian Sullivan, and Nasir Sullivan, all of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Ishina Griffin, and Frenshye, both of Greenville, SC; three brothers, Chris Roberson, of Atlanta, GA; Dequan Sullivan, and Darius Garrett, both of Greenville, SC; one grandchild, Kaleb Zyire Sullivan, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Saturday, June 13, 2026, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
