Mr. James Edward "Bo" Mayes, Jr.

Mr. James Edward “Bo” Mayes, Jr., 65, of Greenville, transitioned on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at his residence. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late James Edward Mayes, Sr., and Fannie Lucille  Robinson Mayes.

Surviving: three daughters, Brandi Butler, of Greenville, SC, Tomeka Dennis, of Easley, SC, and Kimberly (Jeremy) Jeter, of Moore, SC; two sons, Taurus Dotson, of Greenville, SC, and Travokas (Taknisha) Dawson, of Washington, DC; one sister, Georgiana Long, of Greenville, SC; one brother, Michael Mayes, of Greenville, SC; sixteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Saturday, June 20, 2026, 2:00pm, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
