Mr. James Leonard Maddox

Mr. James Leonard Maddox, 63, of Greenville, transitioned on Friday, October 3, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville, he was a son of Wilma Jean Maddox and the late John Charles Blakely.

Surviving: two daughters, Washita (Kaiser) Whitfield of Greenville, SC and TriCortney (William) Crews of Jackson, FL; three sons, Jamare Leonard Maddox, James Barton and Jautarus (Delana) Maddox of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Tammy (Derrick) Maddox-Lynch of Greenville, SC, Pamela Smith of Richmond, VA and Alesha Pickens of Greenville, SC; three brothers, Curtis Blakely, Cedric (Patricia) Blakely and Milton (Jacquelyn) Blakely all of Greenville, SC; eleven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, October 10, 2025, 4:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with private interment.
