Mr. James Roland Gambrell

Mr. James Roland Gambrell, 73, of Greenville, South Carolina, husband of Laura Gambrell, transitioned on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at his residence. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late James Robert Gambrell and Zelma M. Gambrell.

Surviving: in addition to his wife, of the home, one daughter, Adrienne (Eddie) Townsend, of Atlanta, GA; two bonus daughter, Tiffany Chapman, of Spartanburg, SC; and Tara Davis, of Laurens, SC; a nephew who was raised in the home, James E. Harrison, of Simpsonville, SC; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, August 9, 2025, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
