Mr. Jackie Bowens,72, of Pickens, South Carolina, husband of Dane’e S. Bowens, transitioned on Friday January 24, 2025, at Cannon Hospital. Born in Easley, SC; he was the son of the late Lake and Ruth Williams Bowens.
Surviving: in addition to his wife, four daughters, Paula Bowens, of Pickens, SC; Ernestine (Paul) Hughes, of Sugar Hill, GA; Heather Bowens, and Daphne Bowens, both of Greenville, SC; one son, Christopher Bowens, of Pickens, SC; one sister, Annie Jean Reese, of Easley, SC; two brothers, Clarence S. Bowens, of Easley, SC; Howard (Pauline) Bowens, of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, February 4, 2025, 1:00pm, at Shoals Creek Baptist Church, with interment in church cemetery.
