Mr. Harold Richard "Uncle Rick" Williams

Mr. Harold Richard “Uncle Rick” Williams, 76, of Travelers Rest, widower of the late Minnie Ruth Andrews Williams, transitioned on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at his residence. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Edward Vanoy Williams and Cora Lee Cox Williams.

Surviving: two daughters, Chelsie Williams and Maranda Williams, both of Travelers Rest, SC; three sisters, P. Jean (Grady) Robinson, of Travelers Rest, SC, Alyene Carson, of Taylors, SC, and Patricia Williams, of Travelers Rest, SC; a god daughter, Jai’lah Williams, of Travelers Rest, SC; two grandchildren, Algernon Gantt, of Travelers Rest, SC; and Antonetta Gantt, of Greenville, SC; one great-grandchild, Bradley Ray Richard Gantt, of Travelers Rest, SC, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friday, September 19, 2025, 7:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary.

Funeral Services: Saturday, September 20, 2025, 11:00am, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in Mountain View Memorial Park.
