Mr. George Edward Wright, Jr., 86, of Greenville, South Carolina, widower of the late Gladys Jackson Wright, transitioned on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, while in the care of hospice. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late George Edward, Sr. and Etta Cline Wright.
George Edward Wright Jr. is survived by his son, George (Bonita) Wright, III, of Greer, SC; one daughter, Litese Williams of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Thursday, May 29, 2025, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Needmore Cemetery.
