Deacon Fred L. Henderson, Sr.

Deacon Fred Lee Henderson, Sr., 87, husband of Clara Dogan-Henderson, of Mauldin, transitioned on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at his residence. Born in Laurens County, he was the son of the late Pete Alonzo Henderson and Luelee Coleman Henderson.

Surviving: in addition to his wife, two daughters, Carolyn Henderson Farris, of Greenville SC and Sabrina (Clyde) Henderson-McLaughlin, of Lufkin, LA; one son, Frederick L. Henderson, Jr., of Mauldin, SC; two sisters, Leola Henderson, and Katherine Henderson, both of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Alonzo Henderson, and Willie Lee Henderson, both of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Tuesday, December 2, 2025, 11:00am, at Flat Rock Baptist Church, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
