Mr. Ernest Dixon, Jr.

Mr. Ernest Dixon Jr. 89, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, husband of the late Eleanor Sue Barnwell Dixon, transitioned on Friday August 15, 2025 at his residence. Born in Fountain Inn, SC;  he was a son of the late Ernest Sr., and Hattie Amanda Smith Dixon.

Surviving: two daughters, Catina Grady of Mauldin, SC and Ernestine Dixon of the home; two son, Reverend William (Sophronia) Drummond of Salem, Al and Thomas “Reidus” Dixon of the home; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, August 23, 2025, 2:00pm, at Mountain View Baptist Church, with interment private.
