Deacon David Bolden, 94, of Piedmont, South Carolina, husband of Ida Mae Redmond Bolden for 75 years, transitioned on Saturday August 2, 2025, at Piedmont Post Acute. Born in Laurens County, SC, he was a son of the late Clarence Bolden and Priscilla Whittenburg Bolden.
Surviving, in addition to his wife: one daughter, Patricia (Rudolph) Green of Piedmont, SC; two sons, Jerome (Mary E.) Bolden of Greenville, SC and Dr. Rondey (Shirley) Bolden of Taylors, SC; one sister, Naomi Yeargin of Simpsonville, SC; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, August 10, 2025, 2:00pm, at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
