Mr. Darren Lamonte "Dee" Bennett

Mr. Darren Lamonte "Dee"  Bennett, 56, of Simpsonville, transitioned on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late James and Shirley Ann Johnson.

Surviving, one daughter, Dezarae Bennett, of Greenville, SC; one son, Donterio Bennett, of Lyman, SC; one sister, Gloria Wideman, of Greenville, SC; two brothers, William Anthony (Charlene) Anderson, Willie (Pamela) Bennett, both of Greenville, SC; his companion Ruby Smith, of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
