Mr. Darrell Simpson 76, widower of the late Tessie Ola Mae White Simpson, transitioned on Friday, January 16, 2026 at his residence. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late William and Hattie Pearl Cason Simpson.
Surviving: two daughters, Andreana (Jerome) Martin of Simpsonville, SC and Tracie (Vladimir) Chery of Greenville, SC; one son, Darrell “DJ” (Diana) Simpson, Jr. of Mauldin, SC; one sister, Deborah Simpson of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Donnell (Deneen) Simpson and Bryan Simpson both of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Friday, January 30, 2026, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
