Mr. Charles Edward Young, Sr.

Mr. Charles Edward Young, Sr. 87, of Greenville, husband of the late Mary Frances Bruce Young, transitioned Thursday, August 28, 2025, at his residence.  He was the son of the late Samuel Forest and Mary Jackson Young.

Surviving: four daughters, Mary C. (Reginald, Sr.) Lomax of Simpsonville, SC, Patricia Johnson and Shelia Young both of Greenville, SC and Melissa Young of Los Angeles, CA;. three sons, Samuel Young of Columbia, SC, Charles Edward Young, Jr. and Sergio Young both of Greenville, SC; bonus son, Nicholas Newby of Easley, SC; nineteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service:  Thursday, September 4th, 2025, 11:00am at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
