Mr. Charles Edward Young

Mr. Charles Edward Young, 81, of Greenville, South Carolina, widower of the late Georgia Byrd Young, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at his residence. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Ludie Young,  Claude and Rosie Lee Bolden Young Owens.

Surviving: three daughters, LaGrace (Leon T.) Henry of Greenville, SC, LaTora (John W.) Hester of Simpsonville, SC and LaShelle Young of Greenville; one son, Dural (Juliet P.) Young of Fountain Inn, SC; two sisters, Joyce Cooley of Simpsonville, SC and Georgia Ann Stenhouse of Fountain Inn, SC; one brother, Robert Young of Fountain Inn, SC; one sister-in-law, Ruth Pigham; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service: Friday, November 8, 2024, 3:30pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
