Mr. Bennie Lamonte "Mont" Smith

Mr. Bennie Lamonte “Mont” Smith 55, of Greenville, transitioned on Sunday September 13, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Sharon Bell Smith and the late Bennie Lewis Smith.

Surviving: in addition to his mother, one daughter, Shanay (Joshua) Roberts, of Piedmont, SC; one son, Andre (April) Childs, of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Sabrina (Cecil) Sitton, of Greenville, SC; Rachel Smith, of Anderson, SC; Angela Young, and Felecia Smith, both of Greenville, SC; one brother, Stacy Smith, of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
