Mr. Authur Lee Morgan, 71, of Greenville, South Carolina, companion of Kay Frances Sims for fifty-two years, transitioned on Monday, February 24, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Casper Moon and Ceola Dendy (James L.) Morgan.
Surviving, in addition to his companion: one bonus son, Joseph Sims of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Ethel Gilliam of Atlanta, GA, Lara G. Allen of Simpsonville, SC, and Ridie (Levi) Shell of Fountain Inn, SC; two brothers, Casper (Sarah) Moon of Atlanta, GA and Mac Golden of Fountain Inn, SC; five bonus grandchildren; four bonus great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, March 9, 2025, 1:00pm, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
