Mr. Alvin Collie Dennis, Jr., 86, of Simpsonville South Carolina, husband of Eliza Greene Dennis of 62 years, passed away on Sunday July 7, 2024 at his residence. Born in Laurens, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Alvin Sr. and Willie Mae Hood Dennis.
Surviving, in addition to his wife: one daughter, Deborah (Marco) Yeargin of Piedmont, SC; one sister, Patricia Dennis of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Thursday, July 18, 2024, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, SC.( 2:00pm).
