Mr. Albert Simpson, Jr., 92, of Columbia, South Carolina, transitioned on Saturday February 28, 2026, at MUSC Hospital, Columbia, SC. Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Albert Simpson, Sr. and Luegenia Gwinn Simpson.
Survived by his daughter, Alvera Butler of Columbia, SC; one sister Bobbie Mobley of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Zaylee, Zachary and Zharyn Butler and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, March 7, 2026, 2:00pm at Mountain View Baptist Church with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
