Mrs. Stella Mayfield

Mrs. Stella Mayfield 76, widow of David Lee Mayfield Sr., transitioned on Saturday September 19, 2026, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Charles Goldsmith and Della Johnson.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, David Lee Mayfield Jr.

Surviving: one daughter, Sheila Mayfield of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Cynthia Goldsmith Payton and Ruby (David) Lee, both of Greenville, SC; one brother, Christopher Goldsmith of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Wednesday, September 30, 2026, 3:30PM, at Watkins, Garrett, and Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
