Mr. Melvin Bennett, Sr., 92, of Greenville, South Carolina passed on Friday, August 12, 2022, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Ernest Sr., and Estelle Davis Bennett.
He was the husband of the late Sarah Helen Williams Bennett for 27 years before her demise.
Surviving is his son, Melvin (Georgia) Bennett, Jr. of Newnan, GA and daughter, Linda Bennett of the home, four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Friday, August 19, 2022, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
