Maude Golden

Ms. Maude Lisa Golden, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Saturday, November 12, 2016. She was a daughter of the late Sam W. Golden and Jessie Lee Moore Golden. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eula Mae Coker.

Maude was educated in the Greenville County School System; she was a graduate of North Greenville College and also studied at Greenville Technical College in the Nursing Program. She was a homemaker.

Left to treasure many memories are her stepmother, Virginia Washington Golden of Taylors; sons, Ivan K. Hawkins of Sugarland, Texas and Isaac K. Hawkins of Boston, MA; sisters, Valerie G. (Karl B.) Houston of Piedmont, Antonia G. Anderson of Greenville and Maxine G. (Bobby) Oglesby of Mauldin; brothers, Sam W. (Jolly) Golden, Jr., Curtis J. (Brenda ) Golden, and Illya N. Golden, all of Greenville; a granddaughter, Brielle Hawkins; aunts, Adell Davis of Chicago, IL and Audrey Williams of Greenville; an uncle, Truman A. (Alma) Moore of Greenville and a host of other relatives and friends.
