Mattie L. Thompson

Mrs. Mattie Louise Thompson, 81, of Taylors, South Carolina, wife of the late Tommy C. Thompson, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at her residence.  Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Henderson, Sr. and Mattie Bell Jenkins.

Surviving:  four daughters, Mary Lewis of Taylors, SC, Antonia Thompson of Taylors, SC, Teresa Thompson of Greer, SC and Michelle Thompson of Greenville, SC; two sons, Larry Thompson of Greenville, SC and Anthony Thompson of Taylors, SC; two sisters, Cynthia Faye Henderson of Central, SC and JoNell Walton, Toccoa, GA; two brothers, Lawrence Wakefield of Greenville, SC and Robert Henderson, Jr. of Sauderstown, RI; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Sunday, May 26, 2024, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with entombment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
