Mrs. Mattie Mae Blanding Smith, 80, of 15 Knox Street, passed away at Greenville Health System on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Born in Manning, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Frankie Holiday Blanding.
Surviving: sons, David V. (Rachel) Smith of Greenville and Darren H. (Valisa) Smith of Pelzer; brothers, James F. Blanding of San Francisco, CA and Lincoln (Carolyn) Blanding of Lillington, NC; four grandchildren, David V. (Ashley) Smith, II, Brenetta J. Burkett, Deneisha L. Burkett, and James D. Smith; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
