Mrs. Marjorie Strawder Walker, 88, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Wednesday July 19, 2017, at her home. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Willie Heyward and Margaret A. Shumate Strawder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Walker; sisters, Sarah F. Herbert and Ruth A. Jones; brothers, Bobby Strawder, John Strawder and Artis Strawder.
Left to treasure many fond and loving memories are one daughter, Diane Walker of the home; one son, Dennis (Vanessa) Walker of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister, Helen Anderson of Greenville; two brothers, David Strawder of Simpsonville and James (Carol) Strawder of California and a host of other relatives and friends.
