Marion W. Smith, 102, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Heartland Health Care Center. Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late John and Bessie Richardson Walker. She was predeceased by a son Marion "June Bug" Smith Jr.
Survivors: daughter, Cora Smith Adams of Greenville; sister, Margaret Porterfield of Columbia. three grandchildren; Dorothy Walker of the home, Triva (Ricky)Adams Smith, and Marcus F. Adams. Four great-grandchildren; Jasmine McElrath, Kwan Adams, Christopher Smith, and Taylor Smith. One great- great- grandchild Aaliyah Adams.
