Marilyn Johnson

Mrs. Marilyn Arlene Johnson, 67, of Greenville, South Carolina, wife of Eddie L. Johnson for 38 years, passed on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at North Greenville Hospital, Travelers Rest, South Carolina.  She was a daughter of the late Alvin H. and Malida Bowen Davis.

Surviving in addition to her husband:  one daughter, Jangatavia LaShun Gambrell; one son, Jayveon (Amanda) Gambrell; three sisters, Jenene Davis of Greenville, SC, Regina Davis, Greer, SC and Lynn Davis (Michael Wilkerson) of Monroe, NC; two brothers, Stan (Tan) Davis of Greer, SC and Dr. Phillip (Tracie) Davis of Austin, TX; five grandchildren, Victoria  (Patricia) Dammons, Avery Gambrell, Jaylyn Gambrell, Alecia Blanding and Brianna Gambrell; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

Visitation: Saturday, March 23, 2024, 11:00am - 12:00noon, at Relentless Church (Bishop's Chapel). 

Funeral Services: Saturday, March 23, 2024, 12:00noon, at Relentless Church (Bishop's Chapel), interment TBA.
