Mrs. Margie Lee “Mot” Smith, 73, of Greenville, passed on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. She was a daughter of the late James and Maybell Oglesby Poole.
Surviving: her husband, Deacon George H. Smith of the home; two daughters, Deborah (Rev. Jerome) Rabb of Greenville, and Joycie (Terry) Thompson of Piedmont; two sons, John A. “Sam” Poole of Greenville, and George H. (Tyronzika) Smith, Jr., of Piedmont; two sisters, Martha Sheppard of Greenville, SC and Bobbie Downs of Gray Court, SC; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
