Linda Hawthorne Briggs

Ms. Linda Hawthorne Briggs, 65, of Mauldin, South Carolina, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at her residence. Born in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Joe B. and Blanche Chapman Hawthorne.

Surviving: two sons, Bryant Briggs, and Jeffery (Keyalah) Briggs, all of Greenville, SC; five sisters, Brenda Brownlee, Sandra Hawthorne, Mary Ann Neely, all of Greenville, SC; Sharon (Steve) Gary, of Simpsonville, SC, and JoAnn (Johnny) Sullivan, of Fountain Inn, SC; three brothers, Joe G. (Helen) Hawthorne, Rev. Ralph (Beatrice) Hawthorne, and Henry Odell (Geraldine) Hawthorne, all of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Saturday, June 1, 2024, 1:00pm, at Reedy Fork Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in church cemetery. 

The family will be receiving friends, at the home, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.
