Lillie Maude Garry

Ms. Lillie Maude Garry of Easley, SC, departed this life on December 13, 2015, at Greenville Health System. She was born in Laurens County on February 24, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Mr. Joney Garry and Mrs. Hattie Kate Smith Garry.

‘Maude ’ as she was affectionately called, was a 1963 graduate of Clearview High School. She was a retiree of Baptist Easley Hospital after 37 years of service, where she was a supervisor in the food service department. At an early age she joined the Easley Union Missionary Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Mary Bradley.

She is survived by a daughter, Andrea Lynn Gary (Mike) Williams of Easley, SC; a son, Andra Darryl Garry of Easley, SC; sisters, Emma Pearl Oglesby-Brown of Wallington, NJ, Laura Kate Garry of Greenville, SC and Joyce Ann Suber of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Louis Gary of Middleton, CT and James (Doris) Gary of Englewood, NJ; three grandchildren, Dominique Gary of Florence, SC, Aubrey Williams and Miles Williams, both of Easley, SC; devoted father of her children, Andrew Bill Blassingame; special devoted friend, Charles Murphy; special cousin, Shirley Chapman and a host of other relatives and friends.
