Mrs. Lillian Irene Sims, 73, of Belton, South Carolina,departed this life on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Self Regional Medical Center, Greenwood, South Carolina. Born in Pickens, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Nancy L. Coker Anderson.
She graduated from High School with a GED. She was a textile worker most of her life and a foster mother to many. Lillian loved the Lord and was saved.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Edward Anderson.
Left to cherish many fond memories are her husband, Marvin Sims; sisters, Mildred Williams of Greenville, SC and Mary (Clarence, Jr.) Wright of Simpsonville, SC; two stepsisters, Gloria (Larry) Smallwood and Diane Smoot, both of Columbus, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
