Mr. Liggon Sonny Young, 78, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Oakmont West Nursing Home. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late John and Gazerlla Briggs Young.
Left to cherish loving memories are his daughters, Stareta Young Ragland of Greenville and Rev. Liggonia James of Delaware; step-daughters, Hestel, Cheryal, and Stephanie Lipscomb; sisters, Lena Smith of Greenville and Ruth Jones of Patterson, NJ; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
