Leonathy Black

Mrs. Leonathy Brock Black, 103, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, widow of the late Charles Black, passed on Friday, March 15, 2024.  Born in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late Oliver Brock and Janie Bell Griffin Brock and Orr Brock. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving:  three daughters, Frankie Black of the home, Teresa Evans and Betty Jean Lester both of Simpsonville, SC; two sons, John Thomas (Hattie B.) Brock of Piedmont, SC and Rev. Richard Allen Black of Simpsonville, SC; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Sunday, March 24, 2024, 2:00pm, at Shady Grove Baptist Church Pelzer, with interment in Church Cemetery.
